In April, China's output of crude oil reached 15.87 million metric tons, a slight increase of 0.9% year over year. From January through April, the accumulative output of crude oil reached 64.44 million metric tons, an increase of 2.0% year over year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
In April, China imported 40.43 million metric tons of crude oil, a drop of 7.5% year over year. From January through April 2020, imports of crude oil reached 167.61 million metric tons, an increase of 1.7% year over year.
China's processing volume of crude oil reached 53.85 million metric tons, a slight increase of 0.8% year over year. From January through April, processed volumes amounted to 203.48 million metric tons, a drop of 3.4% year over year.
