Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Dynamotive Energy Systems Corporation (Vancouver, British Columbia) and subsidiary Dynamotive USA Incorporated (McLean, Virginia) have finalized a wood residue contract with feedstock supplier Springhill Land and Timber Company (Taylor, Arkansas) to provide wood feedstock for the company's first cellulosic biofuels plant, which will be located in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Engineering design was provided by TECNA SA (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and construction is expected to start early 2010. Cost estimates for the project are in the $40 million range.
The company is also looking at additional future plant sites in an existing 43,000-square-foot building in the North Webster Parish Industrial Park in Cullen, Louisiana, and a third location in Howell County, Missouri.
