Explosion at Iran's Largest Steelmaker Threatens Residents

The request was made as a precaution to protect residents, as poisonous gas from the explosion could reach the central city. It was reported that a bad odor had spread to the southern part of the city. The fire started when material waiting to be downloaded outside the steel plant caught fire in hot weather conditions.

Unofficial reports said that some workers were injured in the incident, as the fire took hours to put out.
