Researched by Industrial Info Resources Latin America (Cordoba, Argentina)-- Enipower (Lombardy, Italy), a subsidiary of Eni SpA (NYSE:E) (Roma, Italy), has moved its inspection of a unit at the Ravenna Power Plant from May to June.
The power plant is equipped with three combined-cycle units: groups 9, 10 and 11. Groups 10 and 11 each have a 266-megawatt (MW) Ansaldo Energia (Genoa, Italy) heavy-frame combustion turbine, with an Alstom S.A. (OTC:ALSMY) (Paris, France) generator and a 127-MW Ansaldo Energia condensing tandem-compound steam turbine.
The Group 9 block has one 125-MW GE Energy (NYSE:GE) (Fairfield, Connecticut) MS9001E PG9171 DLN Thom Pkg heavy-frame combustion turbine, with an Alstom generator and a 67-MW Ansaldo Energia condensing steam turbine.
Enipower is preparing for several scheduled maintenance outages this year at the plant, which is located in the Emilia-Romagna region. The June outage for the Group 10 block will last for 25 days and include an inspection of the combustion turbine.
Following the Group 10 block outage, a five-day inspection of Group 9 will be performed. In August, Group 11 will undergo a major overhaul, with repairs and inspections of casings, shells and frames diffusers; rotor and stator compressor blades; and buckets, tubes, combustor, auxiliaries, control systems, instruments, as well as a hot-gas path inspection.
