Karpowership kicked off operations at Powership Zeynep Sultan, its first liquefied natural gas (LNG)-to-power project in Indonesia. The facility turns LNG into electricity through a dual-fuel engine function.
The LNG used to generate power is derived from a floating storage regasification unit (FSRU), which converts liquid to gas. Indonesia is vying to become one of the world's top exporters of LNG.
