Ktech Corporation Selects Architect for New $25 Million Manufacturing Plant in New Mexico

Ktech Corporation (Albuquerque, New Mexico) has selected JLS Architects (Albuquerque, New Mexico) to provide architectural and engineering services for a $25 million manufacturing plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Plans are to construct a 100,000 square foot plant and install equipment to manufacture wet cleaning machinery that is used by semiconductor and wafer fabricators to clean acids and residues from processing equipment. A general contractor is expected to be selected in late April, with site preparation beginning in May. Overall completion is slated for October 2005. The new plant is expected to generate 100 jobs initially.

The plant will be constructed in the Sandia Science & Technology Park. Once this new facility is completed, Ktech will relocate the recently purchased 50-employee Poly-Flow Engineering Incorporated plant from Sylmar, California, to the New Mexico plant. Ktech Corporation purchased Poly-Flow Engineering Incorporated in July 2004.
