MINExpo 2016 Boasts Largest Exhibit Hall in Show's History

Industrial Info is exhibiting at MINExpo.

Released Monday, September 26, 2016

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--On track to exceed its record-setting numbers from four years ago, MINExpo International, one of the largest mining trade shows in the world, kicked off Sunday at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada. More than 1,900 exhibitors, including Industrial Info, have reserved more than 840,000 square feet of floor space. The indoor space was completely sold out, leaving only outdoor space in the Silver Lot for any last minute registered exhibitors.

MINExpo, which has been held every four years since 1996, brings together industry leaders from around the world and displays the latest and greatest mining and minerals processing technologies and equipment. The show is sponsored by the National Mining Association (Washington, D.C).

Industrial Info will not only be exhibiting (booth 137) this year, but will also cover the show's highlights, including the show's opening session at 10 a.m. Monday, in room S223 South Building. This first meeting will bring together mining industry experts and leaders to discuss "the impacts of recent market conditions and the industry's significant role in global development, prosperity and sustainability" according to the conference schedule.

In addition to the exhibit hall and opening session, MINExpo will offer 20 education conferences covering everything from mine maintenance and safety to the latest research and trends in processing and material handling. The meetings will also cover issues currently impacting the U.S. and international mining markets such as reclamation and post-land use, water management and automation as well as what projects may be on the horizon.

Industrial Info is tracking more than 10,000 active mining projects worth $1.40 trillion.

MINExpo 2016 will wrap up its show on Wednesday with the U.S. Department of Interior Awards Luncheon.
