North Dakota's Coyote Power Station Taken Offline Due to Fire

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Coyote Power Station, a 450-megawatt (MW), coal-fired station in Beulah, North Dakota, was forced offline early Thursday morning due to a fire. The havoc began in the auxiliary portion of the unit and in the boiler, where one of the units' two boiler feed pumps disintegrated, setting off a series of events that included blown oil lines, steam and structural damage.
