Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--First Energy Corporation's (NYSE:FE) (Akron, Ohio) Perry Nuclear Generating Station in Ohio was forced offline Friday for the second time in three weeks. Plant personnel said the 1,245-megawatt (MW) station experienced a loss of power to the feed-water system, about 8:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, and was taken offline. Plant personnel plan to return the unit to service Wednesday.
