The 864-megawatt plant will operate in a 3-on-1 combined-cycle configuration consisting of three 172 megawatt (MW) GE Power Systems Frame 7FA gas-fired combustion turbines (PG7241 (FA) models) with heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) attached and one 393 MW GE Power Systems D11 steam turbines. Inlet air cooling equipment and duct burners were installed to increase the plants electrical output. Each of the Frame 7FA's will utilize state-of-the-art Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) for the control of NOx emissions.
