Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Central Indiana's largest beer and wine distributor, family-owned Monarch Beverage Company (Indianapolis) has started site preparation for its $45 million distribution center and headquarters in Lawrence, Indiana. The 500,000-square-foot facility will sit on 93 acres at 52nd Street and Pendleton Pike in Lawrence and will serve as a warehouse and the new headquarters to Monarch. The company anticipates completion of the new facility by mid-2009.
Duke Realty Corporation (NYSE:DRE) (Indianapolis) will serve as the developer and will oversee construction. The facility will be owned by First Beverages (Los Angeles, California), the country's foremost real estate capital provider for beverage companies.
