South Asia's Chemical Processing Industry plans to spend about $875 million by mid-2022 on more than 650 maintenance projects, in sectors such as petrochemicals, fertilizers and aromatics.
India, the biggest producer of fertilizers and petrochemicals, has the highest number of maintenance projects planned at 557, with an investment of about $775 million. It is followed by Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.
