North America
Marathon is in the process of restarting its 437,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, Texas. The facility was shut down on January 5 due to freezing weather.

Valero is in the process of restarting its 225,000-BBL/d refinery in Texas City, Texas and 180,000-BBL/d refinery in Houston, Texas, following freezing weather. The refineries are expected to be online by February 11.

Pasadena Refining is in the process of restarting its 100,000-BBL/d refinery in Pasadena, Texas after it was shut down on January 5 due to freezing weather. The facility is expected to be online in the next 24 to 48 hours.

International
Mineraloelraffinerie Oberrhein GmbH & Co KG is restarting the 91,100-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) at its 309,000-BBL/d Miro Refinery in Karlsruhe, Germany. The unit was shut down in late December due to technical issues.

Raffinerie Heide GmbH, on February 6, was forced to shut down its 90,000-BBL/d Heide Refinery in Germany, as a result of a defective voltage regulator. However, the issue has been resolved and the restart process is underway. Full operations are expected to resume February 9.
