Suncor Energy Incorporated, today, August 8, was able to maintain maximum rates at its 98,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Denver Refinery in Commerce City, Colorado, despite heavy rains that caused flaring.

International
Saudi Aramco has delayed commercial operations for the 54,500-BBL/d Hydrocracker 1 and 54,500-BBL/d Hydrocracker 2 units at its 400,000-BBL/d (actual capacity: 230,000-BBL/d; 57% capacity) Jazan Refinery in Saudi Arabia. The units are tentatively expected to start operations by October 15.

Gazprom Neft PAO continues with the planned reconstruction of the 4,600-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer L-35/11-600 unit at its 400,000-BBL/d Omsk Refinery in Russia. The unit restart is tentatively expected for mid-August.

Bashneft ANK OAO had started planned maintenance of the 21,400-BBL/d Gasoline Hydrotreater L-24-5 (PB) unit at its 138,000-BBL/d Ufa Oil Refinery in Russia. The maintenance is expected to be completed by the end of August.
