China Power Investment Completes Two Thermal Power Projects in Jilin Province

The official operation of the unit marks the plant's success in its plans of putting two units into operation in 2007.

The plant is the first project in Jilin under a trusteeship and is an important part of the 11th five-year plan for Jilin. The project is equipped with two 300-megawatt (MW) combined heat and power coal-fired units with flue gas desulfurization facilities with an annual power output of 3 billion kilowatt-hours. The project is capable of supplying heat for 4.4 million square meters.

Unit 1 of Erdaojiang power plant's Phase III project had passed its full-load trial operation just two days before Baishan's Unit 2 in Tonghua City, Jilin Province.

The Erdaojiang project is also an important part of the 11th five-year plan. The project is built and operated by China Power Tonghua Thermal Power Company Limited (Jilin). The project is equipped with two 200-MW combined heat and power coal-fired units with an annual power output of 2.04 billion kilowatt-hours. It is capable of supplying heat for 6 million square meters.
