Costco Begins Construction on Regional Warehouse, Plans Expansion
Plans are in development for a $10 million expansion of the new warehouse. The second phase expansion would include the addition of another 200,000 sqft of warehouse space.

Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas) Costco Wholesale Corporation has recently begun construction on the first phase of a new 200,000 sqft (square foot) regional distribution warehouse in Dallas, Texas. Utilizing Barkley Dean, out of Belleview, Washington, as their G/C, Costco expects to complete construction on the new warehouse in mid-2003.
Plans are in development for a $10 million expansion of the new warehouse. The second phase expansion would include the addition of another 200,000 sqft of warehouse space. Preliminary plans are to select a G/C for the expansion in the fall of 2003 with construction beginning in 4Q03.
