U.S. Crude Oil Stocks Fall - The U.S. Energy Information Administration reports that U.S. crude inventories fell 6.3 million barrels in the week to June 30. Gasoline stocks fell 3.7 million barrels. (Reuters)
U.S. Crude Oil Exports Reach 1.02 Million Barrels in May - U.S. crude oil exports reached 1.02 million barrels per day (BBL/d) in May, slightly higher than the 1.00 million BBL/d in April, foreign trade data from the U.S. Census Bureau showed on Thursday. (Reuters)

Saudi Aramco Produced Record Oil in 2016 - Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil exporter, increased production to an annual record last year before the kingdom led OPEC and other major producers to curb output to counter a global oversupply. Crude production averaged 10.5 million barrels a day compared with 10.2 million barrels in 2015. (Bloomberg)
Eni Pumps First Oil from Ghana Field - Italian oil company Eni (NYSE:E) started oil production from the 45,000-barrel-per-day Sankofa field offshore Ghana on Thursday, giving a boost to the West African country's plans to use its oil resources to revive its economy. (Reuters)

U.S. Renewables Monthly Generation Exceeds Nuclear - In March, and again in April, U.S. monthly electricity generation from utility-scale renewable sources exceeded nuclear generation for the first time since July 1984. (EIA)
Berkshire Hathaway Attempts Oncor Deal - Berkshire Hathaway's (NYSE:BRK.A) energy unit is nearing a deal to buy Energy Future Holdings Corporation's Oncor Electric Delivery Company, Texas's largest electric transmission operator, a person familiar with the situation told Bloomberg. (Bloomberg)
Mississippi Orders Kemper to Use Only Gas - Mississippi regulators ordered utility owner Southern Company (NYSE:SO) on Thursday to come up with a deal that will have the Kemper power plant--once hailed by the Obama administration as the future of coal--running as a natural gas-fired generator instead. (Bloomberg)

KBJ Selected as EPC Contractor for Jordan Cove LNG Project - KBJ, a joint venture partnership comprised of Kiewit Energy Group Inc., Black & Veatch Construction, Inc. and JGC US Projects, LLC has been selected by Jordan Cove LNG to engineer and construct an LNG export terminal in Coos Bay, Oregon. (Project 300080797) (Business Wire)
U.K. Receives U.S. LNG Cargo - A cargo of liquefied natural gas from Sabine Pass, Louisiana, is scheduled to dock in southern England's Isle of Grain terminal on Saturday, making the U.K. the seventh European Union country to receive gas from America's shale. (Bloomberg)
