CRUDE OIL
U.S. Crude Stocks Grow, Distillate and Gasoline Down
- U.S. crude inventories rose 867,000 barrels in the week ending March 24. Gasoline stocks fell 3.7 million barrels, while distillate stocks fell 2.5 million barrels. (Reuters)

FINANCIAL
Westinghouse Files for Bankruptcy
- Westinghouse Electric Company, a unit of Japanese conglomerate Toshiba Corporation, filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday, hit by billions of dollars of cost overruns at four nuclear reactors under construction at the Vogtle and Summer nuclear plants in the U.S. Southeast. (Reuters) (Projects: 16001637, 17001442)

Exxon to Sell Norway Fields - Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) has agreed to sell its operated upstream business in Norway to private equity firm HitecVision and oil company Point Resources for an undisclosed sum, it said on Wednesday. The deal means that the world's largest listed oil firm will no longer operate producing fields on the Norwegian continental shelf. (Reuters)

LNG
U.S. Set to Become NatGas Net Exporter in 2018
- By the end of next year, U.S. LNG export capacity in the lower 48 states will top 6 billion cubic feet per day, or 8% of the country's domestic consumption, up from zero at the beginning of 2016. (Reuters)
