Decore-ative Specialties Plans Wooden Cabinet Door Plant Expansion in North Carolina

Decore-ative Specialties (Monrovia, California) is considering two options for an expansion of their wooden cabinet door plant in Monroe, North Carolina. Option one would involve expanding the existing 80,000 square foot plant by 110,000 square foot and installing new manufacturing equipment at a total cost of $5.5 million. Option two is the construction of a grassroot 200,000 square foot plant, transferring the existing plant manufacturing equipment to the new plant and installing new manufacturing equipment at a total cost of $7 million.
