Enviva Nears Commissioning of Gas-to-Liquids Plant in Oklahoma
Envia Energy is in the final commissioning phase for a gas-to-liquids plant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The plant will have a production capacity of 225 barrels per day (BBL/d) with a mix of diesel, naptha and synthetic waxes, and it will utilize methane gas from a landfill as feedstock. The plant is expected to be fully operational in early June 2017. Enviva is a joint venture among Waste Management Incorporated, NRG Energy, Ventech Engineers and Velocys. The company was created in March 2014 to develop a series of gas-to-liquid plants to produce renewable fuels and chemicals from a combination of landfill gas and natural gas. Brazos Electric Power Reschedules Outage at Jack County Station in Texas
Brazos Electric Power Cooperative is rescheduling a planned outage at its Jack County Generation Station near Jacksboro, Texas. It is now scheduled to run from Friday, April 14, to Thursday, April 27; previously, it had been scheduled for April 1 through April 14. Work includes borescope inspections; minor HRSG maintenance; balance-of-plant maintenance; cleaning, inspecting and repairing of seals, bearings, valves, pumps and motors; equipment calibrations; filter and oil change-out; and summer preparations. Brazos Electric is the largest generation and transmission cooperative in Texas and is responsible for generating and transporting wholesale electricity to its 16 member-owner distribution cooperatives and two municipal systems, according to Fluor Corporation, which provided EPC work at the plant. Acadia Power Extends Outage at Louisiana Facility
Acadia Power Partners LLC is extending a planned outage at its Acadia Energy Center near Eunice, Louisiana. It is now scheduled to run from through Friday, April 14; previously, it had been expected to end Sunday, April 2. Work includes balance-of-plant inspections and maintenance on the borescope, valves, calibration, check filters and controls. (SPP) (Plant: 1043960; Outage: 284564, 284566, 284567)

Phillips 66 Returns Bayway Refinery to Normal Operating Levels
Phillips 66 returned to normal operating levels on Tuesday, March 28, at its 230,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Bayway Refinery in Linden, New Jersey, after completing planned maintenance that started in early February 2017. The 115,000-BBL/d Crude Pipestill 7A (Sweet) and the 115,000-BBL/d Crude 7B (Sweet), which have been ramping up since March 24, are now fully operational. The 26,000-BBL/d Reformer 2 and associated units were restarted on Saturday, March 25. The refinery processes mainly light, low-sulfur crude oil, according to the company's web site. Crude oil is supplied to the refinery by tanker from Canada and West Africa, and U.S.-advantaged crude is supplied through a combination of rail and marine transport. (PADD I) (Plant: 1508498)
