Pan American Energy to Reach Offshore Mexico Hokchi Field Production Plateau by 2022, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Hokchi Energy, along with Empresa Mexicana de Servicios de Explotacion Petrolera SA de CV, received commercial approval for development of the offshore Hokchi Field off the coast of the southeastern Mexican state of Tabasco in 2018. Since then, the company completed the construction of a satellite wellhead platform, pipelines and subsea production system installation, and started field production in May 2020.

Field operator Pan American Energy LCC, through its subsidiary Hokchy Energy Sa de CV, plans to complete Hokchi field infrastructure by the last quarter of 2021 with the installation and commissioning of the Central Hokchi production platform, along with completion of an onshore natural gas treatment plant in Paraiso, Tabasco. The consortium expects to reach the field production plateau by the second half of 2022.
