The aim of the project is to increase the plant´s manufacturing capacity through the addition of a used paper machine that will have a capacity to produce 350 tons per day of sack kraft paper. The machine was purchased at the end of 2011 by Voith (Heidenheim, Germany), which is awaiting the capital approval to install it. After the project is completed, the plant will have a total production capacity of 700 tons per day. The installation of the machine depends on market conditions in Mexico, and the board of directors expects to have a decision on the subject in mid-2013.
