Taiwan's Talin Refinery Plots Improvements, Maintenance

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Chinese Petroleum Corporation's Talin (Dalin) Refinery, which is Taiwan's state-backed petroleum and petrochemical base, plans to spend more than US$215 million on 15 active and proposed projects, including unit upgrades and area maintenance.

The refinery, which is located in Taiwan's southern city of Kaohsiung, also is on schedule for a planned turnaround on its 150,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) crude topping unit in the third quarter.
