Toyota Motor Manufacturing WV is an operating subsidiary of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America Incorporated, a division of Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) (Toyota City, Japan).
Toyota will expand the existing 2 million-square-foot manufacturing plant by installing new assembly and machining equipment to expand the company's production of parts and transmissions.
Construction is expected to begin this summer, with overall completion slated for the fall of 2012. Approximately 40 new jobs will be created once the expansion has been completed, raising the existing number of employees to 1,100.
