Africa Home to $9.85 Billion in Capital Phosphatic Fertilizer Projects

North Africa, which is the source of large phosphate rock reserves, is home to major investments. The world's largest phosphatic fertilizer producer, Office Cherifien Des Phosphates (OCP) (Casablanca, Morocco), is working on three grassroot projects in Morocco; its project in El Marsa is expected to be commissioned by September 2024.
