Planar Solutions, LLC, a joint venture company comprised of Arch Chemicals (NYSE: ARJ) (Norwalk, Connecticut) and Wacker Silicones Corporation (Adrian, Michigan) began commercial operation of their new chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) unit at Arch Chemical's Queen Creek (Mesa), Arizona plant (Plant 1021397) in January.
Johnson Carlier Incorporated (Tempe, Arizona) provided construction services for this estimated $5 million project, as the general contractor.
