Automotive Manufacturer Proceeds with $24 Million Expansion at Kentucky Plant

Construction calls for the expansion of the 57,000-square-foot building with the addition of 71,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 54,000 square feet of warehouse space. Site preparation began in August 2007, and construction started in October 2007. Overall completion is slated for September 2008. Approximately 150 jobs will be added to the existing 165.

Branscum Construction Company Incorporated (Russell Springs) was awarded the general construction contract for the expansion, and Green Mechanical Construction Incorporated (Glasgow, Kentucky) was awarded the mechanical contract.
