BASF, one of the biggest producers of high-quality polymer dispersion solutions in India, is seeking to strengthen its supply of the product to the fast-growing South Asian markets.

BASF India Limited began producing polymer dispersions in Dahej in October 2014 and now operates a production line at the plant. The company is planning to double its capacity with a new line at its site in Dahej, Gujarat, with additional capacity of 45,000 tons per year of polymer dispersion and 66 million pounds per year of thermoplastic polyurethane. The expansion is expected to be complete by end of 2021.
