Commissioning is Underway at Two Navasota Energy Power Stations
Quail Run, located off Interstate 20 in Odessa, Texas, and Colorado Bend, located off of FM 3012 in Wharton, Texas are both 550-megawatt (MW) natural gas fired combined-cycle plants.

Officials with Navasota Energy Partners (Houston, Texas) stated Tuesday that commissioning on phase one of both the Colorado Bend Energy Center and the Quail Run Energy Center is currently underway. The company is expecting to begin commercial operation at both locations sometime in May 2007.
Civil Construction on phase two at both locations has commenced, with mechanical construction to start later this year. Both units are expected to be operational sometime in the summer of 2008. The identical equipment complement will be installed at both locations for the second phase and provide an additional 275 MW of electrical power to the grid.
