Chevron Starts LNG Production at Gorgon Train 3 - Chevron (NYSE:CVX) has started production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the third of three production units at the Gorgon LNG project located off Western Australia, the company said on Tuesday. (Reuters)

National Grid Announces Power Transmission Project to New England - National Grid (NYSE:NG) today announced a proposal to develop a new transmission project known as the Granite State Power Link that would bring up to 1,200 megawatts of clean energy from Canada to the New England power grid. Libya Oil Production Falls 252,000 Barrels per Day Due to Armed Protests - Oil production from the western Libyan fields of Sharara and Wafa has been blocked by armed protesters, reducing output by 252,000 barrels per day, a source at the National Oil Corporation said on Tuesday. The news lifted oil prices. (Reuters)

Dakota Access Readies for Startup - The Dakota Access crude oil pipeline is preparing for service, a court filing on Monday showed. Now that the last segment built underneath Lake Oahe has been filled with oil, it's only a matter of time before the line delivers crude from North Dakota's once-booming Bakken shale region.
