Emex Corporation Plans to Build $100 Million Gas-to-Liquids Plant

This plant will be the first of a series of commercial scale plants that will utilize the company's proprietary gas technologies. The plant will not only produce clean-burning diesel fuel that is sulfur free, but high quality waxes, electricity, thermal energy, specialty chemicals, and potable water.

The 2,500 barrel per day plant will consist of five 500 barrels per day modular units. Each unit will be capable of producing 20,000 gallons of potable water daily. Construction for this new facility is slated to begin in October 2003 with commercial operations beginning in late 2004. Emex will then sell the finished products to the transportation, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and packaging industries.
