Emex Corporation (Lakewood, Colorado) plans to construct a $100 million gas-to-liquids manufacturing complex at its Blue Star Technologies site in Arvada, Colorado. This plant will be the first of a series of commercial scale plants that will utilize the company's proprietary gas technologies. The plant will not only produce clean-burning diesel fuel that is sulfur free, but high quality waxes, electricity, thermal energy, specialty chemicals, and potable water.

Construction for this new facility is slated to begin in October 2003 with commercial operations beginning in late 2004. Emex will then sell the finished products to the transportation, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and packaging industries.
