Everpower Prepares to Start Construction on Highland Windfarm

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Nordex USA recently announced that it has entered into an agreement with Everpower Global Corporation (New York, New York) to supply the company with 25 2.5-megawatt (MW) N90 wind turbines for its Highland windfarm project in Beaverdale, Pennsylvania. After it is completed, the windfarm will supply the region with 63 MW of renewable energy. Everpower has also contracted with White Construction Company (Clinton, Indiana) to provide general contracting services for the project. Construction is expected to begin in April 2008 with the delivery of turbines scheduled for this summer and a completion date set for the fall.

Everpower was founded in 2002 by Managing Director Jim Spencer. According to the company, it is primarily a green field developer working mainly in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions.
