Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas). Greyhawk Gas Storage Company, L.L.C. (Houston, Texas) is conducting a seismic analysis for a proposed 6 Bcf natural gas storage project. The Wyckoff Storage Project will be located at a depleted reservoir located near Wood Hall, New York just north of the Ellisburg Hub in Pennsylvania.
The $40 million storage facility will have a gas withdrawal rate of 250 mmscfd and an injection rate of 150 mmscfd of natural gas. Lateral pipelines will connect the facility with the main lines of Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation and Dominion Transmission Incorporated. Greyhawk expects to file with the FERC in October 2002 to construct the project and expects to be in-service by the spring of 2004.
GreyHawk Gas Storage Company is a joint venture of Falcon Gas Storage Company (Houston, Texas) and Emera (Halifax, Canada; TSE: EMA). The Wyckoff Project is one of three such high-deliverability, multi-cycle gas storage projects that Greyhawk is developing in that area.
