Keyera Energy Plans to Expand NGL Production Capacity in British Columbia

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Keyera Energy (Calgary, Alberta), a business unit of the Keyera Facilities Income Fund, is planning to increase its NGL production capacity at its Caribou natural gas processing plant near Fort Nelson, British Columbia. Keyera Energy plans to construct a $30 million-plus natural gas processing train with a capacity 40 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd).The new unit will bring the total natural gas processing capacity of the Caribou plant to 105 mmcfd.
Keyera Energy intends to utilize a modular design approach and expects to begin fabrication in the second quarter of 2008. Site construction is expected to begin in late 2008 with a completion time set for early 2009.
