Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (Lombard, Illinois) will begin construction of a new CO2 plant in September at its North Lansing natural gas storage facility near Longview, Texas. The new plant will remove CO2 from a 200 million cubic foot per day gas stream containing 2.5 percent CO2. The skid mounted plant should be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2003 at a cost of just under $10 million.
