Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas). DPT Laboratories Limited (San Antonio, Texas) is looking forward to the completion of $10 million worth of capital construction development. The company expects their robust growth to continue as their contract manufacturing business expands and their own product lines evolve.
The first project, a new 32,000 square foot Research and Development building, will accommodate their own live-cell therapy research as well the contract research and manufacturing DPT is known for. DPT's live-cell therapy is a wound treatment that uses human cells to promote healing. Budgeted at $5 million, the new laboratory is expected to necessitate the hiring of over 30 additional scientists. Future plans are in preliminary discussion for further research space. The other project, also valued at $5 million, is a new production area that will manufacture foams for the treatment of skin disease. The facility will be operational by October of this year.
