Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) will host special guest Siemens Energy Instrumentations, Controls & Electrical (Alpharetta, Georgia), a division of Siemens Energy, on this week's "Industry Today." Siemens Energy Instrumentations, Controls & Electrical (IC&E), a world leader in power plant automation and controls technology, is the only I&C solution provider that builds power plants and leverages real-world process knowledge gained from more than 2,700 Instrumentation & Control installations in power plants worldwide, producing a total of more than 700 gigawatts of electricity. The company's continual investment in research and development has allowed the company the capability of expanding its expertise to third-party (other OEM) turbines.
The IC&E division offers five primary suites of products, including process optimization, total plant-wide distributed control systems, diagnostics, electrical solutions and fleet-wide asset management. The process optimization solutions evaluate existing plant components, looking for areas where performance gains can be achieved with no mechanical changes to existing assets, often equaling a very attractive and immediate cost savings. The combination of these suites provides solutions ranging from complete integrated control systems, early warning systems that provide more planning time for maintenance or operational changes, smart motor controls, and UPS' asset-management tools, which gather data from operations to help management make decisions in a real-time format.
Please join Don Shaw, Sales Manager, and Kurt Berg, Operations Manager of Siemens' IC&E, to learn more about how the company's comprehensive controls and electrical solutions, combined with years of experience with other OEM turbines and plants, can help improve your plant's availability, flexibility, competitiveness and increase your bottom line.
