A new liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage and regasification terminal will be constructed in South Korea's Dangjin City. It will be the fifth such terminal in South Korea, following those in Pyeongtaek, Incheon, Tongyeong and Samcheok.
The owner, Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), will invest $17.6 billion until 2025 in four LNG tanks, each with a capacity of 200,000 kiloliters. KOGAS also will construct regasification facilities, including a jetty.
