Oak Grove Generating Station is now a 1,600-megawatt station in Franklin, Texas. Oak Grove, which a subsidiary of Luminant Energy Company LLC, which itself is a subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings Corporation (Dallas, Texas), is operated by Oak Grove Management Company LLC and went commercial in December with Unit 1. Now, with both units completed, the station will provide hundreds of full-time, local jobs on-site, with the potential for thousands of support jobs in the community, and will send electricity to millions people in Texas.
