YPF SA Increases Production in Argentina Refineries, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Argentina's YPF SA has restarted its 28,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d)Plaza Huincul refinery after it was taken offline due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state-owned oil company had shut down all processing units the second week of April. The refinery now is processing 55% of normal capacity.

YPF SA has increased production at its 113,200-BBL/d Lujan de Cuyo facility, where processing units, which had been running at 40% capacity, are now running at 55% of normal capacity.

YPF SA's 205,000-BBL/d La Plata refinery continues to run at 50% of normal capacity. It will start to ramp up production in June/July once demand starts to increase.
