Zeus Industrial Products to Build Plant in South Carolina

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Zeus Industrial Products Incorporated (Orangeburg, South Carolina), which manufactures polymer tubing, plans to kick off construction this year on a $76 million manufacturing plant near Gaston, South Carolina.

Zeus manufactures polymer tubing for the medical, fluid handling, electrical and mechanical markets, among others. Construction on the 148,000-square-foot plant is expected to kick off in April, with completion expected in early 2019. M.B. Kahn Construction Company (Columbia, South Carolina) is the general contractor.

Zeus is also expanding its plastic tubing manufacturing plant in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The 66,960-square-foot expansion has a total investment value of $15.9 million. Completion of the project is expected in third-quarter 2018.

Zeus, which develops and manufactures fluoropolymer tubing, operates in more than seven locations, including Ireland and China.

Other markets served by Zeus include aerospace, automotive, energy and optics.
