Adani Group Plans to Invest $5.8 Billion in India's Chemical Projects

The investments include a $4 billion grassroot petrochemicals mega project at Gujarat, in a joint venture with BASF SE (Ludwigshafen, Germany), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) and Borealis AG (Vienna, Austria). It is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

By sector, Adani's investments include four chlor-alkali projects, three petrochemicals projects, two specialty projects and one project each for plastics/rubbers, industrial gases and agrochemicals.
