China's Power Battery Production Continues to Grow

According to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in March, the total output of power and other batteries in China was 118.3 gigawatt-hours (GWh), an increase of 18% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 54.3%. From January to March, the total cumulative production of power and other batteries in China was 326.3 GWh, a cumulative increase of 74.9% compared with the same period in 2023.
