Conserve Oil Corporation Plans Three New Refineries in Canada

Conserve Oil Corporation is planning to construct three crude oil re-refineries located near Edmonton, Alberta; Wallace, Manitoba and Vancouver, British Columbia. The re-refinery located in Alberta will process 2,000 barrels per day and expects to get the go-ahead in October 2006. The Manitoba location will process 5,000 barrels per day and is not expected to get approval until early 2007. The Vancouver site is expected to receive approval sometime in late 2007.

The construction time to build each location is expected to take sixteen to eighteen months. The locations will utilize Process Dynamics’ IsoTherming technology to process waste oil converting it to ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) of 7 parts per million. Triad Engineering, Limited (Calgary, Alberta) is performing engineering services for the location in Alberta and is performing a feasibility study for the refinery in Manitoba. The location in British Columbia is currently under site evaluation and is part of their future growth plans to startup by 2009.

Conserve Oil Corporation is a specialized oil refinery and was incorporated in April 2005. Currently in Canada, 74 million liters of used oil is recovered. The environmentally friendly company will provide a way of optimizing waste oil into value added products. In the future, Conserve will eventually process heavier feedstocks, such as bitumen, tank sludge, and heavy sour crude oil.
