More than $8 Billion in U.S. Oil & Gas Pipeline Projects to be Completed in Fourth Quarter

EQT Corporation (NYSE:EQT) (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), the largest U.S. natural gas producer, is looking to wrap up phases of its Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) at the end of the year. The MVP project, which is expected to begin service next year, is a 303-mile pipeline system that will run from West Virginia to Virginia and carry natural gas from the Marcellus and Utica shales. Among the phases to be completed in December are a 104-mile segment from Wetzel County, West Virginia, to Braxton County, West Virginia, and a 199-mile segment from Braxton County to Pittsylvania County, Virginia.
Three compressor stations in support of these two segments also will be completed in December: a $120 million station near New Martinsville; a $75 million station in Flatwoods; and a $75 million station in Meadow Bridge.

Enbridge Incorporated (NYSE:ENB) (Calgary, Alberta) is looking to complete five projects, worth more than $1.6 billion combined, in the fourth quarter that are associated with its Line 3 replacement program on 1,200 miles of crude oil pipeline between Hardisty, Alberta and Superior, Wisconsin:
- In October, a 13-mile segment from the Minnesota/Wisconsin state line to a recently-completed crude oil storage terminal in Superior, Wisconsin; see project report
- In December, a 135-mile segment from Joliette, North Dakota to the North Dakota/Minnesota state line; see project report
- In December, a 230-mile segment from the North Dakota/Minnesota state line to the Minnesota/Wisconsin state line; see project report
