Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas) will host Environment One Corporation (E/One) (Niskayuna, New York) as its special guest on Industrialinfo.com Radio, January 24, 2005, as part of Industry Today, a weekly Internet radio broadcast. Environment One is an international leader, providing environmental protection, equipment failure prediction, and instrumentation, for large power generator monitoring.
Environment One is devoted to predictive and diagnostic generator monitoring products and services offering industry superior systems for generator overheat monitoring, generator gas monitoring, generator gas drying, value added support services, and much more. Environment One's expertise in the detection and measurement of submicron particles has led to the development of a line of critical monitoring instruments for electric utilities. The 'Generator Condition Monitor' was designed to warn of potential failures in electric power generators by detecting the submicron particles emitted in the generator's cooling gas during early phases of overheating or arcing.
Since designing the first field prototypes of its Generator Condition Monitor for General Electric in the early 1970s, Environment One has continued to refine and innovate predictive maintenance technology for overheat monitoring of hydrogen-cooled and air-cooled generators, while also introducing hydrogen purge gas purity monitoring products for the electric power generator industry.
Environment One has continued to bring industry new technology through advanced research, including these few product introductions:
1991: The introduction of Gen-Tags, a system of tagging compounds designed to complement Generator Condition Monitors and Collector Analysis services.
1994: The introduction of microprocessor-based GCM-A, monitoring products for air-cooled generators.
1997: The introduction of GGA, a customized approach to increasing generator efficiency through hydrogen gas purity monitoring.
1998: The introduction of GCM-X, the next generation in overheat monitoring, incorporating flameproof and intrinsically safe design features.
Today, more than 1,000 Detection Systems are in service worldwide, helping utilities increase efficiency, improve maintenance practices, and avoid costly downtime. Join George Vorsheim, Director of Communications, and Ron Brosnihan, General Manager of Utility Systems of Environment One, along with Crazy Al of Industry Today to learn more about how your plant, or next project, can benefit from Environment One's industry expertise. Tune in with the link above for the LIVE broadcast on Monday January 24th at 10:30 am (EST).
