Praxair Has Begun Construction of Nitrogen Plant In New Mexico

Praxair Incorporated (NYSE: PX) (Danbury, Connecticut) has begun construction on its new gaseous and liquid nitrogen facility in Kirtland, New Mexico. Construction for the new San Juan County plant started last month, with completion expected in one year. The new air separation plant will produce 175 million cubic feet of gaseous and liquid nitrogen per month. Once complete, the new plant will distribute the nitrogen to natural gas industry customers in the surrounding areas.
