Solar Power Sees Light in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) has issued a list of qualified bidders, which includes Masdar (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) and EDF Renouvelables (Paris, France) among others.

SPPC has granted more than 12.6 GW of renewable energy capacity through the NREP to support Saudi Arabia's strategy to reach 50% renewables in its power mix by the end of this decade.
