Soybean Processing Plant in South Dakota Inching Closer to Fruition
Coteau Hills, along with J & D Construction (Montevideo, Minnesota), is finalizing estimates for the $30 million facility.

Researched by Industrial Info Resources( Sugar Land, Texas)--Support for a grassroot soybean-processing facility by farmer-owned cooperative Coteau Hills Processors LLC (Webster, South Dakota) has taken off, and the investment pool continues to inch closer to the estimated $20 million needed to build the plant. Coteau will build the crush and processing plant near Webster in eastern South Dakota. Plans call for the facility to crush approximately 500 tons per day utilizing a cold process to produce soybean oil for fuel and food, and high-grade meal as livestock feed.
