Sysco Completes $50 Million Tennessee Food Distribution Center
Site work on the 44 acres began last spring and involved the construction of a 353,000-square-foot building with dry, cooler and freezer storages, as well as a refrigerated dock.

Reported by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)-- SYSCO Corporation (NYSE:SYY) (Houston, Texas), a leading distributor of food-service products, has completed construction of a refrigerated distribution center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Operating under Sysco Food Services of Knoxville LLC, the new entity will initially employ more than 250 people when operations start next month.
SYSCO is the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments, and other customers who prepare meals away from home. Its products also include equipment and supplies for the food-service and hospitality industries.
